D. Maurie Lung
Maurie is a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Marriage Family Therapist with over fifteen years of experience with adventure-based and experiential programming, training, and consultation services. She integrates her knowledge of recreation, experiential education, and psychology to provide therapeutic services for a diverse clientele. Maurie believes in the power of playful experiences for people to learn as well as become more caring members of their communities.

Certifications: First Aid; CPR for the Professional Rescuer; AED; Small Watercraft; Bareboat Sailing, LMHC, LMFT

Terry Nail
As a primary partner with Life Adventures Counseling & Consulting, Terry contributes over 25 years of experience in leadership, organizational development, experiential education and community building in her work with people from diverse backgrounds within schools, non-profit organizations and corporations. Holding a Ph.D. in Leadership and a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, her vision is to share her gifts of service, enthusiasm, and joy in her work with youth and adults. She inspires and motivates people by providing creative and challenging opportunities for them to discover and share their gifts and talents to make a difference in their lives, their families and in the communities they live. Donald Taylor
As a primary partner with Life Adventures Counseling & Consulting, with more than 10 years of experience, Donald combines a participant-centered program with the organizational goals in sight. His commitment to creating safe and inclusive places is evident in his unique and centered approach to experiential education, be it on the challenge course, in the classroom or boardroom.
